FAQ on Electronic Delivery of Building Design & Construction

What is the minimal operating system for Active Paper Daily?
Any computer that is capable of “surfing” the web can generally access the publications. We strongly recommend using a broadband connection for the best connectivity an enjoyment of your subscription. Dial-up connection through a modem is a much slower connection speed and is not optimal for viewing the digital edition.

Can subscribers save their issues on CDS, zip disks or floppies?
Yes. Subscribers can save their issues by clicking on the FILE tab on the toolbar and selecting the Download PDF option.

Can a user print just one page?
Yes. Subscribers can print a single page or a range by clicking on the PRINT icon on the toolbar.

Can I email interesting articles to a colleague?
Yes. Subscribers can email an article by clicking on the EMAIL icon on the toolbar.

If I convert my subscription to electronic delivery, can I ever change back to print?
Absolutely! If you are a subscriber to the print edition of Building Design & Construction, you can switch back to print or choose to receive your issues electronically at any time.

Do I have to be connected to the internet to read my issues?
No. The digital version allows offline viewing, via a PDF download. Subscribers only need to be online when they download the issue or to click a link for more information.
