Dur-A-Flex Adds Unique Designer Flooring to Decorative Lineup of Seamless Systems

New flooring earns designers’ attention with aesthetics, UV stability, and maintenance cost savings

Dur-A-Flex Inc., a manufacturer of commercial, industrial, and institutional seamless, resinous flooring, announced the introduction of Reflexions, the newest in its lineup of decorative flooring systems. A poured-in-place combination of Dur-A-Flex’s durable and reliable resin systems with the latest in effects pigments, Reflexions produces inspiring one-of-a-kind looks paired with maintenance cost savings of up to 85 percent when compared with traditional flooring options. It is currently making its debut at the 2013 World of Concrete in Las Vegas.

“Adding effect pigment products to our standard floor offerings allows us to be in the forefront for commercial applications that require a decorative option that outperforms VCT, polished concrete, and tile,” says David Hughes, vice presidentof marketing, research & development. “Eliminating stripping and waxing cycles, which other flooring alternatives require, gives the customer the added advantage of overall maintenance savings. Add to that the ease in re-coating the floor to freshen the look, and you have a system that takes you years beyond these other flooring options.”

Available in 12 standard colors that can be used separately or with accents, Reflexions offers seamless beauty for a variety of industries including food service, retail, education, and hospitality.

In addition to its smooth, glass-like finish, Reflexions’ exceptional wear characteristics are earning equal attention along with its UV stability that ensures consistent color for the life of the floor. Stain resistant, Reflexions is CA 01350 air quality and VOC-compliant, making it a system of choice on projects designed to earn LEED credits. +
