The Louisville Arena Authority has unveiled new interior design images of Louisville Arena—the future home to the University of Louisville basketball teams. HOK Sport, Kansas City, Mo., has been selected to design the 700,000-sf arena. Visitors will enter the complex through a 14,000-sf grand lobby complete with high ceilings, terrazzo flooring, and views of downtown Louisville and the Ohio River. The arena will house 22,000 seats, with more than half located in the lower bowl, as well as 71 suites, 70 loge boxes, four party suites, and 3,000 club seats. Completion: November 2010.
