The I/A Series Building Energy Management System Architecture creates an open, interoperable and powerful system. The series is standards-based to communicate with the widest variety of equipment. MicroNet LonMark and LonWorks Controllers provide control for chillers, boilers, air handlers, packaged rooftops, heat pumps, fan coils and unit ventilators. MicroNet LonMark VAV Series Controllers can be applied to pressure-independent terminal boxes with or without reheat capabilities. MicroNet Sensors measure room conditions and transmit the information to the controller via Sensor Link communication protocol. Features include digital zone temperature indication, self-compensating temperature conversions and pushbutton override capabilities. MicroNet Access Control System is compliant with Echelon's LonWorks communications protocol.

To view the information gathered by this system, the company offers Wonderware software for Intelligent Buildings, which is based on the Windows NT operating system. Its Invue human machine interface allows, for example, a 3-D view of an air-handling system in real time, a look at who and what is using energy and 999 different alarm priorities.
