AIA Emerging Professional Component Grant (2010, 2008); AIA Chicago Presidential Citation (2009).

In 2008, used Emerging Professionals Component Grant for AIA Chicago to create BRIDGE Mentorship program, pairing young architects with local AIA Fellows.

While in graduate school at UWM, was associate representative for AIA Wisconsin board of directors. Organized monthly networking social bringing together students and emerging design professionals.


Past chair, AIA Chicago Young Architects Forum. Former AIA National YAF Regional Liaison for Illinois. Currently serves on AIA National YAF Advisory Committee.

Advises PechaKucha Night Chicago, which encourages young architects to share ideas and work.

Instrumental in formation of Community Interface Committee, which encourages links between AIA and pro bono design groups.

Off the Clock: 

Passionate photographer; enjoys documenting his travels.
