Grew company from $300,000 to more than $18 million in annual sales in less than eight years. Added design/build and hospitality infrastructure divisions, and positioned firm as a leader in implementing BIM. About 70% of business comes from repeat clients.
Alma mater is one of largest clients, having constructed more than $35 million in projects at UNC-Pembroke.
Currently a member, manager of Venture Properties Group, Pembroke, N.C. Oversees land purchases for future residential development, and develops and manages commercial real estate properties throughout southeast North Carolina.
Governor appointee, N.C. Clean Water Trust Fund.
Co-chair, Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina federal recognition committee. Lobbying for federal recognition of the 55,000-member Lumbee Tribe.
Pro bono contractor, Homes for Our Troops. Nonprofit builds homes for critically injured soldiers.
