Construction has started on Portland Place, a $22 million, six-story condominium project in downtown Phoenix. The post-tension concrete structure will be clad with standing-seam metal, glass, plaster, and masonry. DFD CornoyerHedrick of Phoenix is the project architect; Portland Group LLC is the owner. The Weitz Company, Des Moines, Iowa, is the general contractor.
