Chicago Environment Department offers tips on greening your office, making workplaces eco-friendly

April 15, 2009 |

The Chicago Department of Environment is offering a Brown Bag lunch series on how to "green" your office. You will learn about waste reduction, energy conservation, green transportation, property management engagement, and how to start a "green team."

DATE: 4/23/2009

TIME: 12:15-1:00 PM

LOCATION: Chicago Architecture Foundation, 224 South Michigan Avenue

This lunch series is designed for Green Office Challenge participants, but all are welcomed. The Green Office Challenge is an invitation to property management firms and building tenants in the central business district to "green" their operations by reducing energy and minimizing waste. The vision is to develop a collective sense of action backed by a suite of support tools and Mayoral recognition.

Please note: Pre-registration is required. To register for this series or find out more information on the Green Office Challenge, email [email protected]. Please include your name, workplace address, phone number, and email address.

The Green Office Challenge meeting date of April 16, 2009 in the Chicago Center for Green Technology Program Brochure is incorrect. The corrected information is above.

The Green Office Challenge series will continue this summer. Please visit our CCGT Summer Brochure 2009 for more details at:
