Nemetschek North America Announces New U.S. Partnership with Apple
Jeffrey Yoders, February 9, 2010Nemetschek North America (NNA) has entered a new partnership with Apple in the United States. Under the terms of this partnership, three of NNA's Vectorworks software products can now be purchased through the U.S. online Apple Store. Vectorworks and ArchiCAD, another Nemetschek product, are the only BIM programs available for the Mac platform. More -
Autodesk AEC headquarters certified LEED Platinum
October 26, 2009The Autodesk, Inc., AEC headquarters in Waltham, Mass., designed by KlingStubbins and constructed by Tocci Building Co. using Building Information Modeling and an Integrated Project Delivery contract, was certified LEED-Platinum last week by the U.S. Green Building Council. Billings at U.S. architecture firms exceeds $40 billion annually
October 13, 2009In the three-year period leading up to the current recession, gross billings at U.S. architecture firms increased nearly $16 billion from 2005 and totaled $44.3 billion in 2008. This equates to 54 percent growth over the three-year period with annual growth of about 16 percent.
