California dreaming

California dreaming

By Staff | August 11, 2010

When Infonet decided to build a new corporate headquarters, Chairman José Collazo knew that he wanted to build a creative workspace that would reflect the ambience of Southern California. An open-architecture environment was developed with glass and floor-to-ceiling demountable walls. The vast open areas suggested a flooring of soft pallets and patterns. Uniquely patterned 18-inch quarter-turn carpet squares - with names such as Arroyo, Pueblo and Adobe - with soft transitioning shapes were chosen. A peel-and-stick carpet backing offers access to the company's heating, cooling and voice and data infrastructure located underfoot.
