Bred to suit

Amherst Gray and Birmingham Buff sound like show-dog breeds, but they're actually sandstone species from Ohio's Berea formation. Available in dimensional blocks with architectural detailing and sculptural elements cut by skilled stone carvers, the sandstone is ideal for cladding, veneer, sills and even patio applications.
