Building Team Awards 'Early Bird' deadline extended

Building Team Awards 'Early Bird' deadline extended

Rob Cassidy | February 25, 2014

Good news: We've extended the deadline for entries for our 17th Annual Building Team Awards to Friday, March 14, 2014.

Even better news: We've extended the "Early Bird" deadline to March 6, 2014.

"Early Bird" means that, if you get a draft of your support statement to me (at rcassidy@sgcmail.com). we'll review your draft within 48 hours and get back to you with suggestions for improvement. Then you can make your fixes and get your entry (or entries) in by the March 14 deadline.

As far as we know, no other awards competition in the AEC industry does this. We do it because we don't want to have a less than perfect presentation hurt your chances of having your project recognized as a Building Team Award winner.

So, go online to the entry form and get your photos and Statement of Support draft going.

The winners will be published in the June issue of BD+C, which will be distributed at the National AIA Conference and Expo in Chicago.
