Renzo Piano's $124 million expansion of Atlanta's High Museum of Art has spurred a local construction renaissance. Developer John Wieland is planning a luxury condo building across the street. The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority has had discussions with the High's parent organization and several developers about the best use for 6.2 acres MARTA owns at Arts Center station. The transit agency says it would like to use the land to create a bigger cultural district.
