Colorado gets it first LEED Platinum commercial building

Signature Centre at Denver West, a five-story, 186,000-sf speculative office building in Denver, recently received LEED Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. The $45 million complex is the first commercial LEED Platinum building in Colorado and one of the largest spec buildings in the U.S. to earn the distinction. Green features include underfloor air distribution, individual temperature and ventilation control, daylight harvesting via interior and exterior light shelving, abundant glass, and individual lighting. Golden, Colo.-based Aardex developed, designed, constructed, and now manages the Signature Centre.
