Samuels joins BD+C editorial board

Thomas R. Samuels, FAIA, AICP, executive VP with Higgins Development Partners, Chicago, has joined Building Design+Construction's editorial board.

Samuels, who has more than 35 years of experience in the architecture and development industries, manages Higgins' Government and Institutional Development Group on a national basis. His responsibilities include acting as the partner-in-charge of the firm's public sector work, public/private partnerships, and institutional transactions.

Prior to joining Higgins, Samuels was a managing principal at Lohan Associates (now Lohan Anderson), a Chicago-based architectural practice.
