Van Egeraat thinks big with Milan mixed-use project

The 2.3 million-sf Milanofiori North mixed-use development project in Milan is one of the largest developments in Europe. Construction on the first phase of the project, which includes four office buildings, housing, retail, and a leisure and entertainment center, has begun. Expected completion is 2009. Offices and retail will primarily comprise the second phase of the project. Architect is Erick van Egeraat, Rotterdam.
