Another W Hotel coming to Atlanta

Atlanta's Ai Group is the architect for the W Buckhead-Atlanta, a $100 million conversion due in June 2008. It'll be the fourth W in metropolitan Atlanta. The renovation will completely overhaul a Crowne Plaza hotel, located in the upscale Buckhead neighborhood, into a luxury property complete with exterior glass elevator, rooftop bar, water walls, and an exterior screen featuring video art. The hotel is being designed in conjunction with Thom Filicia, interior design star of Style Network's “Dress My Nest” and former series regular of “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.”
