Heart hospital opens in North Texas

Spacious private patient rooms and all-digital workflow are among the features of the newly opened, 68-bed Heart Hospital Baylor Plano. Built adjacent to the Baylor Regional Medical Center in Plano, Texas, the $106 million, 197,000-sf hospital houses an eight-room ER, a diagnostic imaging suite, three cardiac cath labs, four operating rooms, and three electrophysiology labs. The architect was RTKL, Baltimore, with Medco Construction, Dallas, as the GC.
