Don't forget the children in the green crusade

Great article toward advancing sustainability in the building design and construction industry (BD+C November 2006 White Paper, “Green Buildings and the Bottom Line,” www.BDCnetwork.com/article/CA6390371.html).

I would like to add one very important recommendation: We need to educate our kids, the next generation, as to the importance of green building and the positive effects it will have on the health and the environment for theirs and future generations.

Our generation has pretty much messed things up, but I feel through education we can go a long way toward repairing the damage and ensuring that the limited resources on this very small planet will sustain future generations.
