Mixed-use center rising on the banks of the Ohio

Cincinnati's latest mixed-use development, One River Plaza, encompasses dual condo towers (nine and 12 stories) along the Ohio River. Designed by local architect Cole + Russell Architects with RTKL, Baltimore, the brick-and-glass towers will contain 146 one- to four-bedroom condos, restaurants, and street-level retail space. The development will connect with the riverfront park system, the downtown core, and a pedestrian bridge crossing over to Northern Kentucky's entertainment district. Dayton, Ohio-based Miller-Valentine Group is developing the project, which is expected to break ground this spring and open in 2009.
