New offices planned for D.C.'s historic Anacostia district

Forrester Construction, Rockville, Md., and Motir Services Inc., Washington, D.C., have reached the halfway point in construction of the $14 million Anacostia Gateway Office Building in Washington's Anacostia Historic District. When completed in May, the three-story office building will offer 66,000 sf of office space, as well as two floors of below-grade parking. Designed by local architect Devrouax and Purnell, the office complex is Anacostia's first major construction project in 15 years.
