Gupta, Tobey join BD&C's Editorial BoardStaffFebruary 1, 2006Building Design and Construction
The BD&C editorial staff welcomes Raj Gupta and Philip Tobey to our Editorial Advisory Board. Gupta is president of Environmental Systems Design, a Chicago-based consulting engineering firm that specializes in the design and commissioning of M/E/P, fire-protection, life-safety, and building automation systems. Tobey is an SVP with architect/engineer SmithGroup, Detroit. Based in the firm's Washington, D.C., office, Tobey leads SmithGroup's healthcare practice there and sits on its board of directors. Together with the other distinguished members of the Editorial Advisory Board (M. Arthur Gensler, Jr., chairman of Gensler; Laurin McCracken, marketing and strategies officer with Looney Ricks Kiss Architects; Alan Traugott, principal with CJL Engineering; and Randolph Tucker, SVP with RJA Group), Gupta and Tobey will help shape the direction of the magazine and its Web site, and participate as judges in BD&C's awards programs. © 2008, Reed Business Information, a division of Reed Elsevier Inc.
