Work Begins on Museum that Says ad Icons are Grrreat!

Mr. Peanut, Tony the Tiger, the Aflac duck, the Jolly Green Giant, and hundreds of other advertising icons will soon be housed in a Kansas City, Mo., museum honoring their contributions to American culture. Construction began last week on the Moshe Safdie-designed Advertising Icon Museum, which is scheduled to open in September 2007 as part of a $100 million mixed-use development.
