$700 Million New York City Science Park Planned

New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg recently announced the site selection for the $700 million, 870,000-sf East River Science Park. The complex will be constructed on a parcel of city-owned land in the Bellevue Hospital Center, near New York University. The project is a major component of the city's effort to make it a center for life sciences and biotech research organizations. Hillier Architecture of New York is the project's designer.
