Brian D. Gordon has joined Chicago-based Magellan Development Group as VP of development. Magellan specializes in condominium projects, such as the $4 billion Lakeshore East community.

Atlanta-based architect Niles Bolton Associates has named Ray Kimsey, AIA, president of the 170-person firm. Kimsey is a 24-year veteran of the firm and previously acted as executive VP. Company founder Niles Bolton remains the firm's CEO.

Boston-based Macomber Builders has named Gordon Knapp president and CEO. Knapp, who has served as COO since 2002, succeeds Don Colavecchio, who now serves on firm's board of directors.

GLY Construction, Bellevue, Wash., has appointed Lee Kilcup as its CEO. Kilcup succeeds Roger Anderson, who has served as chairman and CEO since 2001.

McShane Construction Corp., Rosemont, Ill., has named Scott J. Hoppa director of the firm's Southeast region operations. Hoppa will focus on the development of work in the industrial, office, healthcare, and multifamily sectors.

New York-based Fox & Fowle Architects has changed its name to FXFOWLE Architects. The change comes more than two years after co-founder Robert F. Fox, Jr., left the firm to start his own practice.
