Condominium Tower Comes to Times Square

Construction is under way on a 27-story residential and retail complex on Broadway between 48th and 49th Streets in New York City. The 1600 Broadway on the Square building, expected to be completed in 2006, will include two floors of retail space and 137 condominium units. The Building Team consists of architectural firms Einhorn Yaffee Prescott of Albany, N.Y., New York City-based Cetra Ruddy and SLCE Architects, landscape architect M. Paul Friedberg and Partners, and general contractor Turner Construction, Dallas.
