Mergers and acquisitions

Fort Worth, Texas-based Carter & Burgess Inc.'s Boston office and Konover Construction Corp., Farmington, Conn., have allied to offer design-build services to the warehouse-distribution center market. Carter & Burgess also has added principals Don Allen, Scott Clark, David Reese and Darrell Thompson.

Cannon Design, Buffalo, N.Y., has merged with Johnston Sport Architecture Inc., Victoria, British Columbia. The Canadian practice will be known as Cannon Johnston Sport Architecture. Robert Johnston has been named a principal of Cannon Design and will lead the Canadian office.

Structural engineer Gensert Bretnall Associates has moved from Cleveland to Westlake, Ohio.

E/A Greenman-Pedersen Inc., Babylon, N.Y., has acquired Hillier Engineering & Technologies, formerly a subsidiary of architect Hillier International, Princeton, N.J.

FKP Architects Inc., Houston, has formed FKP Solution Management to provide consulting services to hospitals and health-care systems.

Cahal Stephens has been named president and CEO of Einhorn Yaffee Prescott, Architecture and Engineering, Albany, N.Y.

Steven J. DiFlora has become a partner at Kallen & Lemelson Consulting Engineers, New York City.

Darrell J. Ganz has joined Collins Development Co., Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., as partner and chief investment officer.
