Elements of an 'Allergy Resistant' Hotel Room

Internet surfers with dust allergies are always looking to find hotel rooms with reduced or no carpeting. One of the first things we find is your excellent Reed Bus. Unfortunately, most of these surfers probably immediately burst into tears - can't find any LISTS of hotels that do even 10% ofyour reccomendations for "allergy resistant". It's easy to find lists of Canadian and European hotel rooms, somewhat retrofitted for allergy sufferers. But we can't find anything such lists for the USA, just your article and a description of a trial room at the O'Hare Hilton. I would happily devote a few hundred hours of keypunching if anyone can tell me anyone who can help compile a list of rooms - with 18 million people (and their families) saying that planning for trips with allergies disuades them often from travelling, I think there is a huge captive audience who could be served, easily and profitably.
If travelers don't know that "allergy resistant" rooms exist (just let us carry an aero bed to a hard floor and we'll pay double!), a catch 22 ensues. People with strong allergies have given up, and so the HUGE potential market is invisible to builders. Just think for a minute of how many moms dread taking Jimmy to the Disney vacation knowing they'll probably spend the morning after Holiday Inn's beds sitting in an emergency room with an asthma attack. (their bedding averages 15% by weight the common mite allergen). Can you suggest anyone/anywhere I can go to?
